    Overview

     How things have Changed

The workplace has changed for people and organisations. In the last few years, we’ve seen a global pandemic, economic downturns, cost of living pressures, adaptation to hybrid working, the great resignation and a recruitment crisis. It has taken a toll on employees, and now – more than ever – they need mental health support in the workplace.

Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAiders®) are crucial to helping boost employee wellbeing as we adjust to a profoundly changed workplace environment.

    Mental Health First Aid England

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England offers a range of training to empower people to spot signs of mental ill health and offer first aid support. By improving mental health skills, confidence and access to support, the training assists in reducing stigma, increasing wellbeing, and encouraging people to thrive at work.

    Who Am I

I am a qualified MHFA instructor & have been since July2019, my background is in HR Management within the retail sector and this is where I recognised there is an importance in both physical & mental health. I have conducted train ing within the current organisation.

    Outcomes

MHFAiders® are essential to maintaining employee wellbeing. Our training is grounded in proven techniques and developed with clinical practitioners. We make sure everything taught is reflective of people’s real lived experiences of poor mental health.
